Lone Bison, Yellowstone National Park by lepersabstain Lone Bison, Yellowstone National Park by lepersabstain
Buffalo in Yellowstone in March of 2011

I've wanted a photo of one of these creature walking through the geyser fields of yellowstone for a very long time and it finally happened this last trip. It took about 30 minutes for me to get this shot as the herd of buffalo passed through it. The steam from the geyser was often much to thick for me to shoot through, but after waiting patiently it finally cleared enough and let me capture this amazing shot.

I was thrilled frozen and aching as my knuckles were I ran back to amy ecstatic.
